Connection with the city:

The connection between the airport and the city is made by bus, train or taxi:

Bus: Takes to Pl. Catalunya (city center) every 15 minutes. The trip is 40 minutes long.
- First airport departure : 6:00 am (6:30 am on saturdays, sundays and holydays).
- Last airport departure: 12 pm.
- First city departure: 5:50 am (6:00 am on saturdays, sundays and holydays).
- Last city departure: 11:15 pm.
There exists a card that combines the airport bus ticket with a 3 days pass or a 5 days pass for the bus and subway in the city. Both tickets and cards are sold on the bus.

Train: Takes to the main railroad station Barcelona Sants and also to Pl. Catalunya (even more centric) every 30 minutes. The trip is 15 minutes long.
- First airport departure: 6:13 (6:11 on saturdays, sundays and holydays).
- Last airport departure: 22:13 (22:11 on saturdays, sundays and holydays, 22:41 on fridays).
- First city departure from Pl. Catalunya (add 5 min. for departures from Barcelona Sants): 6:08 (6:41 on saturdays, sundays and holydays).
- Last city departure (add 5 min. for departures from Barcelona Sants): 22:08 (22:11 on saturdays, sundays and holydays).

Taxi: There are plenty of them. Look for the line at your arrival terminal arrival. Any trip to the city center should take about 15-30 minutes, depending on the traffic density.

2. BY TRAIN
 

Stations:

The main station is called Barcelona Sants. Its location is centric and is well connected by subway (Sants Estació, on lines 3 and 5) to any other point of the city. Some trains get to the more exclusive station of Barcelona Estació de França, also centrically located. Its corresponding subway station is Barceloneta (line 4).
