General Description
 

• Our origins go back to the group of Professor Carles Perelló and his graduate students at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, around 1975. The old group grew up with new students of the former students and with people with other origins.

• Now, it is a group of researchers from different universities in Catalunya, and different sources of financial support (mainly from government agencies), that keeps open to people with common interest on analysis of partial differential equations problems and their applications.

• As the group became larger, also the borders of it became less precise. So, the list of members that appears in Personnel has to be understood in a very open sense.

• Around the end of  the seventies,  the initial group created a "Seminar on Infinite Dimensional Dynamical Systems". This Seminar has been running on since that time, with evolutions in its contents and its name, until the present "Seminar on Partial Differential Equations and Applications".
